Scarf for "what's his name?"

Here is the scarf I'd like to knit for you know who. This scarf is also modified the way I'd do it-- narrower than what the pattern calls for.

Debra's Scarf

Here is what I have done so far. Not much, but that is because of my push to get the Harry Potter one done and out of my hair and off my lap.

This way you can find me at baggage claim when I arrive at the airport (not necessarily in these clothes, mind you!)

Tank tops

Hi there-

I am trying to figure out which one of these tank tops to tackle with my knitting.


The blue tank is called "linen drape shell"

the red tank is called "scarlet woman"

The tank with spag. straps can be made with wide straps (included in pattern) and is called chikami

The tank with the cable is called "mondo cable"

The tank in green is called "vista"

One done one to go

I have two photos. One is a before shot of the pillow and the other is the "after" photo. I must say, I prefer the after. It was somewhat tricky stuffing the pillow into its new home. The designer basically made the envelope 1 whole inch shorter -- a 13 by 13 -- and you can see on the 'after' picture how it has 'pulled in' on the sides, but I really like it.

The sampler so far

Hi Mom

Here is what I have completed on the Autumn Sampler so far. I am about 2/3 of the way done with the barn and about 1/2 way done with the straw/hay bundle.

Of course, after I took the photo and got it on the computer -- then I saw this tiny thread I didn't clip close enough. But I think the back side of the work is fairly tidy.

Knitting ideas

Hi mom, hi jacque--

I have attached photos of some knitted items. One is a girls baby blanket in pick from a knitting book I have. The other knitted items come from the book i have on loan from the local library-- Mason - Dixon knitting. The big blanket is called "Moderne Log Cabin" and one is of a log-cabin type rug, and the other is a flying geese pattern blanket. Oh, and the last photo is of a knitted bench cushion
